Big-D  One Man Acoustic Band Extravaganza
The BD acoustic show  is perfect for those nights when you want to unwind, sing, drink, and be merry It's also the best show in town when the the rest of the ZK bunch take a break.
After an 11-year run in Vincennes with the' Atomic Farmboyz, Big D put together an acoustic act in the summer of 2001. Spanning 4 decades and over 700 selections, you never know what tunes you are gonna hear per show. Known for his vocal abilities, and his faithful 12-string..the typical BD UNPLUGGED Show is completely unplanned, relying on the crowd to yell out their requests. Before Atomic Farmboyz, Big D spent 6 years as a member of Badd Manners, travelling all over the USA..having fun, but making no money! Recently he joined Vincennes' Zero Kings, taking the band in a different more rock orientated direction, while still maintaining the acoustic show. Big D also won the Beatles Sound Alike competition at the annual Beatlefest convention in Chicago Illinois in Aug 2003...the largest congregation of Beatle Fans in the United States. From that event, BD has had exposure on WFIE TV in Evansville, and Channel 2 WTWO in Terre Haute..as well as articles in the EVansville COurier-Press and Vincennes Sun-Commercial. The AP wire then took those stories and they appeared in various forms from Indianapolis to Bloomington and more.
